We are conveniently located on Interstate Highway 72 and U.S. Route 36, approximately 12 miles west of Springfield, the State Capital of Illinois, and the home of various Abraham Lincoln historic sites. Jacksonville is approximately 17 miles west of New Berlin.

New Berlin is one of the nicest places to live and do business anywhere and we hope that you will consider our clean and quiet community for your residential and business needs. We offer both a variety of new and existing residential home and commercial building sites.

New Berlin is located in the heart of West Central Illinois, one, if not the most productive agricultural areas of the world. Chicago is four and one-half hours to the north and St. Louis is approximately two hours to the south.

We offer both a variety of new and existing residential home and commercial building sites and a variety of educational options for your family. In addition to a fine public school system, New Berlin also has a Missouri-Synod Lutheran parochial grade school.

New Berlin maintains its own municipal water and sanitary sewer treatment plants with affordable user rates. We offer these and much more. Come browse our site and learn more about the benefits of New Berlin, Illinois!

This site is also intended to allow the citizens of New Berlin to have greater access to the inner workings of village government as well as to give potential new residents and businesses a look at the place where we call home.

This web site will help assist the Village Board to communicate with the citizenry and, in turn, allow the citizens to communicate with the Board.  To help facilitate this, we have included several links to Village Departments, Village Information, Ordinances, Board Meeting Minutes, Community Events, and Local Links.

We hope you will find this new web site informative and helpful in communicating with the New Berlin Village Government.  By working together, we can all help make our Village the best possible place to live.
