We are conveniently located on Interstate Highway 72 and U.S. Route 36, approximately 12 miles west of Springfield, the State Capital of Illinois, and the home of various Abraham Lincoln historic sites. Jacksonville is approximately 17 miles west of New Berlin. New Berlin is one of the nicest places to live and do business anywhere and we hope that you will consider our clean and quiet community for your residential and business needs. New Berlin is located in the heart of West Central Illinois, one, if not the most productive agricultural areas of the world. Community Unit School District #16 is headquartered in New Berlin. The New Berlin Elementary, Junior High, and High Schools are located in New Berlin and another elementary school is located in nearby Loami.
